If pressing GO does not result in a LIVE status, work through these steps.
The most common cause is an invalid or offline stream URL.
- Copy your stream URL
- Paste it directly into a web browser
- If it does not play audio in the browser, BEAT cannot connect either
- Verify your DJ's stream is currently live and broadcasting
- Press STOP on the dashboard
- Wait 10 seconds
- Press GO again
A previous session can sometimes leave a channel in an inconsistent state. Stopping and restarting clears it.
- IDLE — No stream running
- LIVE — Stream active and broadcasting
- ERROR — Pipeline failed to start
- Stop the stream
- Switch to a different channel (e.g. Channel 2 instead of Channel 1)
- Try going live again
- If the problem persists, contact support with your username and the approximate time of the error
